Refund policy
Desk Lab products are manufactured in South Africa, they come to you brand new & ready for fragging action but we are a fussy old nation & if for any reason you do not love our products you can arrange for a quick exchange or an easy refund. That's cool, right?
Disclaimer
We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days from reception of your items to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase & order number.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@desklab.co.za with your order number & the details of your query. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Refunds & Exchanges
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund or exchange was approved or not. If approved, you'll be refunded & may now place the correct order.
Refunds
If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Exceptions
Desk Lab will not accept a return if:
- The item has been damaged by improper use or installation carried out by the customer. (somebody didn't bother to read the instructions)
- The customer does not notify us within 7 days from date of reception. (from the day you receive your items)
- The scheduled return date is not met by the customer. (somebody has forgotten something)
Unreturnable Items
These items do not qualify for a return:
- Sale items (items sold on Black Friday, Christmas, etc.)
- Bonsai Kits or Wall Art (these are gifts, people.)
- Gift Cards (the clue is in the name.)
- Custom Orders (special orders or customized desks.)
Damages & Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Please note that: If your item has arrived defective or damaged in anyway, please take photographic evidence as soon as possible & email us along with the other details of your query to info@desklab.co.za.
